On the full moon day of Karthika Maasam the Kojagari feast is celebrated. Also called as Kaumudi (means moonlight) celebration. There was a saying that Milk boiled under the moon light on Karthika Pournami day adds "Amrutham"(Nector) to it. So we follow the same procedure and add Suganda Dravyamu's to it. And will be served to all the devotees on that day in our temple. |
